Inspiration: Gai Gohari
I can always count on my man Gai Gohari to bring it...every day. He exudes the true Milanes style of dress...from the unbuckled shoes to the tie being slightly off. Beautiful mix of colors every time I see him. For more Gai...check his blog www.gaigohari.com.
I saw this on Gai's blog as well. The one thing about going for sprezzatura is that you need a grounding point, or something to anchor the "offness". I love Gai's sense of style but in this case, the belt definitely needs to closely match the shoes. When everything is off kilter the look usurps sprezzatura and looks more like trying too hard. Make the one little change, Gai! What would Domenico Vacca say about the belt and shoes?
